Huge bonus for us was that the hotel has several EV charging stations, including a Tesla destination charger. We didn’t encounter any problems during our short stay. She was also very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. It was a great spread, particularly for people who are gluten intolerant/celiac - many healthy and indulgent options for everyone! Gloria, the breakfast room attendant, kept the area clean, organized and well-stocked. After a restful night’s sleep, we went down for breakfast. The window had a roll up/down blind as well as room darkening curtains that kept light out. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked very well (kept good temperature and had a steady white noise, rather than clunky on/off noises like many hotel air conditioners). The bathroom was spacious, we loved the size and brightness of the shower. The website photos of the hotel common areas and rooms accurately show the spaces - all still new-feeling. Our room was a double queen room on the fourth floor, overlooking the parking lot and the gas station next door.

The lobby was bright, clean, the gym and pool area looked well-appointed (didn’t use them, though). The desk attendants were pleasant and welcomed us warmly. I was able to check in through the app and picked up our key card as we walked in. This Fairfield Inn is located just off the I-5 and is just over a year old. While he drove, I used the Marriott Bonvoy app to look for a hotel close to the freeway so we could continue our road trip the next day. Hubby and I were looking for a clean, comfortable place to rest after a long day of driving.
